nmap 4.01 and the NSA

Just saw a post from Fyodor and hot on the heels of 4.0 is 4.01 AND the pic from the NSA the other day has tools listed in the background!

      The NSA is very security conscous..that is a given. They clearly had that area cleared and pre-screaned for what would be on the screeen for photo ops, they put up all the standard tools, nmap, commercial IDS including Cisco and signature versions, all commercially available tools. I am sure there is more they keep secret. This is just the stuff they acknowledge in public.

        Oh definitely. Having worked in a secure locations with various clearances, that red light you see spinning around like acop siren doesn't mean evacuate. Means clear your work area and all screens of classified data, there are unauthorized eyeballs present. Any photo you see like that is staged, probably in a conference room no less. That's a given.

        Still, Fyodor's deserves this ego boost. :) Wonder how many times he's been investigated / approached?
